The Association of Nigerian Students at Chulalongkorn University (ANSCU) is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Mr. Emmanuel Ede Ogar, a doctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University.
Emmanuel’s paper, “Performance Assessment of Supervised Machine Learning-Based Approaches for Photovoltaic Diagnosis,” was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 21st International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology (ECTI-CON) 2024, held in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
This innovative study utilized a dataset from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to train and evaluate supervised machine learning models to diagnose and classify critical faults in solar PV systems.
This prestigious award underscores Emmanuel’s significant contributions to renewable energy research and reflects ANSCU’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and global impact.
